Nice venue but parking sucks. I was glad to see the Islanders best the Rangers 4-2!!
It's a nice place, but it isn't and was not designed for hockey games. The steep incline behind the goal nets made it impossible to watch part of the game (every time there was any action behind the blue line closest to us we all had to divert our attention from the ice to the jumbo screen). Suited better for watching basketball or catching a concert.
Very good for basketball, not so good for hockey.
Horrible seats for a hockey game..usher was in the view the whole time besides the seats sucked!! Plus the islanders sucked!
Bought 3 mixed drinks and 2 beers - 12 ounce. Total $89 - r u kidding me
Garbage. Extensive security I've never seen elsewhere. Hungry? Wait hours. Couldn't enjoy the game.
Concession prices were outrageously high, but the arena was fantastic. I have been to stadiums and arenas all over North America and I have never seen beers at $12 plus or 8 oz sodas for $7. They lost all of the money that I was prepared to spend for beers/food as I refused to get gouged.
Very professional staff! :-) Well organised and friendly. Fun night out! �
