Our son was diagnosed when he as a sophomore in high school. It was an incredibly difficult age emotionally to deal with a T1 diagnosis. BDC was so supportive, compassionate, and understanding. Their communication and education was second to none!
We have been going to the BDC for four years now and they never fail to help. Our daughter was diagnosed at 8 years old and has always been excited to go.
They gave my granddaughter who is 5 years old with type 1 diabetes state of the art care and they explained things to her that she would understand on her level,the staff there were very courteous and polite and I would recommend any with diabetes go there if you're living in the area and can afford this type of care I also am type 2 and have had it for years and they helped me understand mines more better also.
So supportive and helpful no matter the time you call. We have a great relationship with our provider and the staff that helps with prescriptions goes above and beyond. We love being apart of the BDC family.
We've been going to the Barbara Davis Center for almost 2 years with my older son. Love them!!!! I can't say enough about the wonderful people there. 2 days ago mu youngest son was diagnosed type 1 and once again I love the treatment we get. Everyone at Barbara Davis is fantastic.
I enjoyed meeting the team that helped karlee when we were there 2 1/2 years ago and they helped me understand her numbers and said that they loved having karlee back in their care.. A truly great team..
