It was over 25 years ago that the staff at BDC gave me my very first shot of insulin and taught me so much about a disease I had no real idea about. I will be FOREVER grateful to the BDC for urging my dad to bring me in right away when they found out my blood sugar was over 700! My only complaint is that now I'd like to get an official record of my diagnosis, but they didn't answer my message� I hope I hear from them soon, so I can change this 4 star rating to a 5! ���
They treat us like family every single visit. Because they're so welcoming, we don't have endo anxiety.
I just saw a horrible article about inexcusable behavior directed at important donors by something called george lopez. I don't see how any organization that is supposed to care for children would prefer what appears to me to be a deranged psycopath as the emcee for a fund raising event. We are known by the company we keep and this center just exposed itself as what is, in my opinion, extremely suspect. I would like to see a donor list to know what kind of people are okay with this.
