One star giving for review says a lot.
She took care of my kidney stone , only on the 2nd attempt, since the first time the machine was broken. At Palmetto general, because she lied about memorial hospital not having the proper equipment. I woke up at midnight in a wheel chair, in the parking lot, with a fever, to sign a release form. In the morning i was rushed to memorial where I spe nt a week fighting an infection. ZERO STARS. SHOULD HAVE HIRED A LAWYER.
the person how answer the phone es rude, she does not how to treat people. sounds like very old and decrepit woman. Do not go to this p[lace ever!!!!
the Receptionist or nurse was rude Tasha and she is not good to deal with patients. She should work in another place. Dr Montofford was nice and proffesional, but she need to get rid of assistants that are inept for this job
I called to schedule my son an appointment and her staff was very rude and unprofessional. I was place on hold several times as if they were clueless on how to book an appointment. They finally provided an appointment but failed to get any information from me, how would they know who's the appointment for, I basically had to ask and answer questions as if I was the one working in the office. Nevertheless I found another Urologist. Dr. Montford needs to get rid of those young girls.
Dr. Montford performed a radical prostatectomy on me in 1998. All of my cancerous tissue was removed and yearly tests have not shown any recurrence as evidenced by PSA measurements that have been negligible.
This physician is taking advantage of the limited number of specialists in her field and does very well as she pleases in terms of time management (or lack their of) and showing care and respect to patients. She will have you waiting about a month for an appointment, and over an hour to see her. Her staff doesn’t give good customer service and has a lack of attention to detail or phone courtesy. If I acted this way or an employee acted how she does I would have them on a PIP or fire them.
Her staff are the rudest most unprofessional people. My dad had a prostate biopsy done by her "technician" and ended up with sepsis. I called to ask to speak with her and her staff said she was not available--- the office manager got on the phone after I had been on hold for 10minutes started yelling at me that he never heard of a blood infection before. Shameful poor patient care and customer service.
My son had an appointment to see her. I waited almost 2 hours in a very small lobby area for her receptionist to tell me that she is not in yet and everyone in the lobby are here before you and need to see her as well.
