About this business
The classic neighborhood bar that always has a warm vibe, hearty burgers, cold pints, and the game on -- that's who we are, and that's who we've been for years. Our place was built in the 1920s, and we've got the style and the history to prove it. Think black and white tile, dark wood accents, and just a hint of that Jazz Age feel. In 2013, we took over and turned it into the local haunt it is today. We've got lunch, dinner, one of Minnesota's best happy hours, and a cheerful staff who loves meeting new faces.

Awesome! beautiful bar. solid old school charm. A prime Rib might would be killer
Great place to host a party! We celebrated a friend’s retirement here last week and had a wonderful time! We received FANTASTIC SERVICE! The staff went out of their way to accommodate our group and make sure we were taken care of. Good food and great prices!
I went last year with my Fiancee before the Metallica concert, and the cheese curds, burgers were amazing. We truly thought we had found a gem. I'm not sure what happened in the last year, but I could have made better food, and I am absolutely horrid at cooking. The portions were much smaller for the same amount of money, if not more money this time. Truly disappointed and will not return.
We are here in Minneapolis for the weekend and going to see the Vikings and stopped at Bar Zia for some drinks and shots! Tracy was our server and was awesome. We will be visiting again!
Tracy is awesome! This place is such a hidden gem. Good beer, good food, and that Bacon Jam burger is THE JAM!!! Mmmmmm...
Best vodka slushy ever! Bartender was very sweet!
Was a nice place to have drinks until the owner sat at the bar and degrated a handicap person. Never will stop here again..the owner said I wasn't a regular so I didn't understand.. I called out the douche and I left.
