In one word: excellent. From the well executed, seasonal dishes, to the custom crafted, one of a kind cocktails, all the way to the amazing staff... Bar Marco is one of a kind in Pittsburgh. It feels much like a European establishment seeing as every single staff member is paid a decent living wage with benefits, which means gratuity is built into your service cost. Oh wow, I’m here now, dinner AND dessert were amazing!! They don’t accept tips, apparently, because they pay their house a salary and they have healthcare and time off and everyone here loves what they do and is passionate about this.... this is insane to me and awesome. Go bar Marco!

This year was our second annual Easter brunch at Bar Marco and the second year that it was again exceptional. Both food and cocktails are unwavering in excellence in both creativity and execution. The staff is warm and friendly while also knowledgeable and sophisticated. I think it is one of the most fun places to learn about drinking and to try something new.
