Came here Friday for the first time..service was excellent and the place was a zoo. Came again Monday service was horrible. Saw the waitress two times. No drink refills and wheb did get them, iced tea, no ice. All the food came out at the same time..apps and meal....so sad because I loved bar louie in chicago
Most of the time reviews are directed toward service, timeliness, demeanor of staff, etc . This review is for all those who work in the "back of the house" to ensure food was prepared properly, who spent the extra time scraping off the leftovers, and who provided all of the freshest ingredients needed to supply those who created such dishes. You all deserve so much more recognition than you receive. Well done, folks. Well done... !!

Just came here today. The service is very poor. It took significant time AFTER our appetizer came to finally get our waters. Waitress was a terrible server. I ordered a second soft drink over 15 minutes ago now and I still don't have it yet. The food is pretty good though. They need to carry bottled or sparking water because West Des Moines water is disgusting. The place looks nice and I like the atmosphere. But like I said, terrible terrible service.
What ever happened to people treating others with dignity?
