About this business

Experience Boise's Basque scene at this cozy, charming downtown eatery. Lamb stew, beef tongue (served on Saturdays), chorizo and solomo sandwiches decorate this funky menu. Standard fare exists for the less brave, too. Indulge with a 22-ounce Guinness or a glass of Basque wine. For a taste of Basque, try the croquetas.Tables are sparse, and prized if found. Outdoor seating is also available during the warmer months.

The CROQUETAS were amazing! Had a side of chorizo with it. Really good! The waiter was really friendly.

We didn't know what Basque was and came here on the suggestion of a friend. Holy moly is it ever delicious! My husband enjoyed the heck out of his lamb grinder (similar to a Philly cheesesteak but with lamb), and I kept mmmmmmm-ing over my veggie sandwich. Definitely a great find in a city that seems to be filled with rich culture. Bonus: They have outdoor seating, so we were able to bring the dogs.

Absolutely best taste of Basque in Boise--unless eating in a traditional Basque home. The lamb grinder or dip is out of this world--tender, mild-flavored lamb piled high on fresh French roll. The chorizo and Salomo sandwiches, a close second. Get the croquettas on the side and an ice cold beer, huge variety of imported on-tap or bottled varieties, all served up by a smiling, friendly server. My favorite place!

Great staff, great beer, great food. You must try croquettas and Lomo sandwich. Little bit of Spain in Boise.
