RecommendedWe have eatin at bar Avignon a dozen times. Never a bad meal. I ave have eatin as a single and in a group of 10 and each experience has been perfect. Last night bar Avignon was packed a full house. Looked like to ten tops in a place I do not think hold 50. . With two cooks a packed house I sat at the bar at kitchen amazed at how those two and the wait staff could pull it off. Our meal was perfect. I would highly recommend bar Avignon for any occasion

If you're in PDX or are traveling through, do your mouth a favor and treat it to tasty morsels and cocktails from my fave spot in Portland. Great food, service and atmosphere - your mouth will thank you.
I love this place, its such a stylish setting( romantic) .
French food fantastically prepared. Try the Coq au vin - and try to have a little of everything in every bite. Whoa. The surprise is the creamed root veg at the bottom. The service is also amazing - nicely paced, new silverware with each new course. Oh - get the plate o' bread with their house made butter. To die for. Seriously. Bury me in a vat of that butter with a loaf of crusty bread encrusted with sea salt in both hands.
Best chicken liver mousse. Ever. Consistent quality, value and service. One of our favorite spots in a town full of wonderful restaurants.
