What a great place! We'll be back again soon! (This was the first time I'd had "mashed potato pizza" -- delicious!)
What an awesome experience, with even better pizza. The wait was well worth it, and the beer was amazing.
Great mashed potato pizza always busy though prepare to wait
My husband and I went to Bar as we saw it featured on a TV show. New Heaven is about an hour and twenty-five minutes from home, so we said let's give it a try, especially to try their famous mashed potatoe and bacon pizza! We got there about 4:45 pm and they had a 30 minute wait. My husband happened to look at the bar and there were some empty chairs, so we ended up staying there. Could never catch the waiter to get anything we needed. Heck it took 2 of them to keep walking over but never actually taking our order. After 30 mins of sitting there they finally did take it. Pizza was burnt but still tasted alright, nothing special. We asked for 3 separate checks right up front. Was told ok but then server refused to separate it in the end and was getting annoyed as it took us too long to figure out our separate amounts and pay him. Loved the mashed potato and bacon pizza
I was posted on FB yesterday as being at Bar; I wasn't there. My friend had my card , but did not use it. When he saw the post that I had " checked in ", he looked all over for me. As I said, I wasn't there.. What's the deal with that?
Bar is great! Right in my backyard, can't go wrong with great pizza also really good beer. No doubt about it one of my favorite places in new haven.
The best pizza � ever. And on the weekends BAR turns into one of thethe best night clubs in Connecticut! Djs are on point!
