They have the best Mashed potato pie around get it with bacon yum
This place is great. The pizza is actually fairly good and the beer is amazing! I stay away from the mashed potatoe pizza. Almost tastes a little too instant potatoe
Hostess needs to be more welcoming and not just sitting their with his phone on a chair away from the hostess booth. Wasn't sure who the hostess was for first 2 min, and he was sitting right there the whole time and never acknowledged us. -1 star service Food wise, probably best pizza I had in new haven area. They beat out the Sally's Pepe's and moderns. 4 star pizza
Pizza way too thin. I grew up on pizza inn West Haven and New Haven, so I do love thin crust. This was okay.

I am a Jersey girl transplant and was on a statewide search to find pizza that could even compete with what I knew and loved...until my first visit to BAR a few years ago! Salad, pizza, and microbrews done right!
