Bad experience, unfortunately. The service was terrible and the pizza was only moderately better.
Bar is an old hang out for me. I was excited to drive from NYC to take a friend. The pizza was bomb. Five stars for their pizza. Better than Pepe's! Our waitress kept disappearing.

I am updating this review. It used to be a 1 star because of my experience with a rude staff member. But last night I changed my mind. So Im chillin by the bar drinking a seltzer cuz' Im sober and sh*t. You know. And this ex marine dude comes up to me claiming that Im looking at him funny. At first he seemed normal, but as the conversation progressed he started sounding like a loon. Heard the bouncer yelling a bunch of negative slag tonight while exciting. He was asked to stop and said he didn't care. Def not going back to this place. However the food or drinks may be.
Had a great night at BAR. Glad we waited the 45 minutes we were told that we would be. Loved the building, atmosphere and definitely the pizza!
We are new to the area and have been wanting to try BAR because of how great others say it is. Well, it lived up to the hype and we absolutely loved it!!! Amazing pizza, cool atmosphere, and a vast drink menu! We will be going back often!
Max was a great host. He and my daughters, Porter and Hollister Hovey, are great friends. Bar and "Cheers" are the type of bar where everyone gets to know each other fast. The pizza is great and the micro-brews are interesting.
Great pizza and atmosphere. Super pizza and special is the mashed potatoes and bacon. My favorite was the mushrooms and sausage. Will be back soon!
