I brought my wife into Baptist Medical Venter for excruciating pain in her upper right side. The ER doctor was very professional, courteous, and informative. However, that was the last doctor that we had with such professionalism. My wife had three different tests ordered and performed by doctors who never explained why they wanted them nor did they come back to explain the results. They don’t round like they’re supposed to. No one communicates. No one knows what’s going on ever. They need to get it together and figure it out.
Couldn't be happier with the care my mother received from the ICU unit on the 10th floor. Our nurse Bristine was beyond amazing and Timothy Williams as her respiratory specialist was incredible. Thank you to all of you for making our ICU stay less scary. You deserve to be recognized!
Baptist is a good hospital and the staff is GREAT and friendly but they are so short handed. Patient call lights going off but the poor nurses are stretched so thin they can’t give patients the attention you think a hospital should give their patients. The hospital lacks organization. My sister, who suffered a stroke waits and waits for someone to unhook her monitors just so she can go to the bathroom. Not very happy right now!
