RecommendedI had surgery here yesterday and everyone took great care of me and worked hard to make sure I was as comfortable as possible from entering the hospital through discharge.

Our experience with the labor and delivery department of Baptist South has been a circus from the word go. From the nurse who kept ripping the taped on eye covers off our baby’s hairline, the one that put her bilirubin light pad in upside down for 6 hours, all the way to the one who gave us regular formula for a preemie who was supposed to be on high calorie formula. Not impressed at all and now that we are finally discharged (which took over 1.5 hours and a call to the charge nurse before it happened), it would take a catas... read more

RecommendedI was terrified to have surgery. Everyone here was fantastic and made me feel at ease. I hope you never need a hospital, but if you do, they are highly recommended!!!

I have not personally been here but I have dealt with one of the workers and she made it publicly known that she will let someone die and refuse to help them because of his personal review and opinion on a subject. anyone with that mindset does not deserve to work in a hospital and with others when it's their job to help others no matter their opinions and review on a subject. I also have proof to show she said this. I wish love to be able to speak to boss or someone higher about this. Thank you and have a great day
