no help on fraudulant charges on our bmo master card for a total of $1737.22 on amazon, and amazon tells me to take it up with bmo. And when this started we didnt even get a call about the activity being done. WE are on a fixed income no way im paying that. At least they could reach out and try to help but no. ********************
Bank of the West was great - well run, good service, nice app functionality. The *** takeover is a huge downgrade. Duplicate NON-*** ATM fees that they won't reverse. No way to turn off a debit card from the app (a huge liability when traveling). My experience not nearly as bad as some of those I read below, but enough to make me consider changing banks. Wish Bank of the West had not succumbed to takeover.
Looks like I'm another one in the long line of former Bank of the West customers who lost services and have had nothing but issues with ***. I've constant issues with their mobile app, logging me out. I got the Rocket Money app to try and control some of my spending but *** won't connect with it and I've had nothing but issues with the mobile app since!!! Bank of the west sold to ***. Never received a notification of monthly payment due or where and who to send it to. *** mails a Final Past Due Notice. The credit bureau was notified!! Spoke with *** and they refused to accept responsibility. Didnt know who or where to send a payment. Never have been late on any payment until now. Stay away from ***!!!
On 09/26/2023 I had ordered a product and cancelled it the following day, 9/27/2023, using the same debit card. Typically, to have funds reversed and back into your bank account typically takes ***** hours; however may take up to 72 hours. These hours are business day hours.Yes, I noticed these funds in pending mode for that length of time, through the weekend and into Monday. One of the worst experiences in my life. First, I had my credit stolen before the bank change from bank of the west to ***. I was told I had to wait till the charges cleared before I could dispute them online. My card was deactivated and was being sent a new one. As soon as the charges cleared, I couldn't dispute them because the website was changing. I have spent hours on the phone with them and the local bank and still those charges have not been disputed or credited back. Next my dog gets sick Friday on the Labor Day Week... read more
My wife went to open an account at ******** in ********* because she couldn't open online. She experience rudeness and unhelpfulness from the staff. My wife left early from office to open account and they told she needed an appointment which was not mentioned when we called the branch to inquire. They didn't help. After looking at the review below, we decided to scrap this bank for opening account. Banks like this will not survive for long.
