Don't use this bank. I had no problems with Bank of the West, but once *** took over it has been a disaster. ***'s customer service line is useless. You spend hours on hold and then it either hangs up or someone tells you there is nothing they can do. I have a business line of credit and it took me 8 hours on the phone plus in the branch to access it and even then it was some sort of work around the banker figured out and not a normal way of doing it. I think this bank needs to be investigated. After taking over Bank West they froze all records so it is virtually impossible to obtain electronic statements from prior to the takeover. **************** calls get dropped 1/2 the time. They tell you to call "your banking representative" but do not list a name or number. The login is so convoluted that even Quickbooks cannot sync with them. It's very clear that they don't want small business customers. Worst experience in 30+ years of banking.
*** claimed they sent loan payment information to my parents after Bank of the West sold out to them. They claimed they called, but the numbers they claimed to have called to reach my parents werent my parents numbers and werent numbers wed ever heard of. BMO blatantly LIED because they never reached out to my parents. They repossessed my parents handicapped accessible van, claiming there werent payments received after 2019, which is c*** because if that were true, Bank of the West wouldve repossessed in 2019. If I could give a minus rating I would. Pay loan via website goes through my bank yet they dont post the payment for several days this applying less to my principle. Can get anyone on virtual operating on website in chat cant get anyone to answer multiple phone numbers. I want to go to federal department of banking feel like this is fraud the way they apply payments and gain more in interest
Great employees, terrible policies. Created an account on Monday, deposited a financial aid check on Tuesday, was told it would clear on Wednesday. Went to get cash on Wednesday and was told there was a hold until NEXT WEDNESDAY. The check was coming from an accredited online school. This financial aid payment is extra money for me to live on. Meaning THIS IS MY ONLY INCOME. And yall wont even let me withdraw a partial amount. PLUS, I was NOT told when I deposited the check that anything like this could happen. What a terrib... read more
I was previously a Bank of the West customer in **********. BMO took over and rebranded all Bank of the West branches. Their transition process is messy and unacceptable, they did not have a record of signors on our business account and I have been working with an out-of-state account representative for the past month to get access to our account. The process appeared simple; to get the current information in their system, but it takes days if not weeks to accomplish what seems to be a paper-pushing task. I hope no one else ... read more
After years and years of personal service with Bank of The West, I am appalled to find out that we have been duped into using a bank with the worst company I have ever had to deal with.Run do not walk!!This place is toxic!Tellers are extremely rude and self entitled.It truly is the WORST costumer service I have ever experienced.I will be closing my account ASAP!
This bank is totally shady... I called several times to resolve an overcharge and to no avail. The customer service rep claims they have no supervisor or Management to help resolve any issues.Do not do business with this bank! I've been hung up on and had to call back several times now I I've been on the phone for over an hour. They will not provide a case number or tracking number. There is no way of knowing I even called. The representative does not even have an ID number.Help!
Had to order new cks with new owners BMO. Took 3 wks to get && in the meantime I had no cks.Came in to the branch to get a print out of my ***************** Internet is not working. Would NOT recommend BMO bank.
