Many times, when I have gotten a Bank of America overdraft fee, they were reasonable if talked to, but contacting my branch today , despite paying my overdrawn fee, they just essentially charged me two overdraft fee's and with no alerts or warning. Yet , have the audacity to act as if it is good service.
After my financial advisor and his team left Merrill Lynch and started their own firm, my Merrill Lynch Beyond Banking rewards points were transferred to a Merrill+ Signature Visa administered by Bank of America. I had earned over 180,000 rewards points over 20+ years of using my Beyond Banking account for most of my personal financial transactions. I will be moving all my personal and business accounts, credit cards to another source as soon as possible. I am tired of the poor customer service!!!!!
Bank of America essentially stole $1400. They set up my account incorrectly. It was supposed to link to another so that any overdrafts would not incur an overdraft fee, but would take from another account (I was assured this was the case). I spent freely, resting assured that I had plenty of funds in that other account and made many small charges without concern. I have been trying to close a checking for almost a month. All I experience is getting transferred to different people. Has anyone else have this problem and how do you resolve it?
Matt Ellet is a crook right along with anybody else who works there. Stay away from this institution and their partners in. What they do to people should be criminal.
