Bang Bang is a Mauricio Couturier and Johnny Shockey collaboration of an upscale Asian eatery in the Gaslamp Quarter. The unassuming facade gives no indication of the wondrous interiors at all. Enter through a subway tunneled stairway that gives a glimpse of a Tokyo station. The earthy dining room with its canopy of Japanese lanterns and candle lighting gives it an ethereal glow. i saw disclosure Sunday night Halloween weekend it was too crowded and was bumped a lot. But understandable for such a popular artist. Downfall is that the tables were not handicap friendly and one nice fellow in a wheelchair couldn't get to his friends I could see he was really bummed.
Creative, tasty cocktail menu, awesome unique ambiance and the food is amaze ball's. The staff has always been really friendly and quick. I love it here. I stop in every time I go downtown.
The food was amazing, but I think the most mindblowing experience was truly the women's bathroom.
