Bang Bang is a Mauricio Couturier and Johnny Shockey collaboration of an upscale Asian eatery in the Gaslamp Quarter. The unassuming facade gives no indication of the wondrous interiors at all. Enter through a subway tunneled stairway that gives a glimpse of a Tokyo station. The earthy dining room with its canopy of Japanese lanterns and candle lighting gives it an ethereal glow. Went for the first time yesterday for dinner. We all loved it. We were all over the place looking at the different rooms/decor and of course the bathroom! It was a great place to start our wild night! Thank you Bang Bang! I definitely will be returning in the future.
