My dog has never been so scared of someone as she is of these people and they have no idea what they are doing. Told me when she was a puppy that she was deathly ill and may need surgery, turns out she only had tonsillitis which is easily treatable. Then a few months later we spent over $1000 in tests and retesting just for them to eventually find out that she only had a UTI. during these tests they had us leave her with them for the day. People don't know that they do not thoroughly review your pets past history. All they could concentrate on was the weight of the dog, when in fact bloodwork showed the dog was not in good health. Two of their vets missed this. One vet told me her bloodwork was fine when in fact it wasn't. I was told to take her to an emergency center because they couldn't do anymore. So $700 later Banfield didn't do their job. This is far from being over. I would not pay the money for a vet plan. It might have cost me my dogs life.
Worst place I've ever trusted my cats health to. This is the second time they've not seen my cat in a timely fashion (sitting in a crate for 7 hours before being seen) and then telling me I have to spend at least $330 for x-rays. You wouldn't treat a human like this, so why is it okay to do so for an animal. Your negligence is shameful!
Do NOT sign up the Wellness Plan! I wish I read the reviews that are online about this "racket". Trust me, you do not save money as they will tell you that this procedure needs to be done or this test needs to be preformed....but it's not covered by your "plan" . I cancelled my "contract" today, but will still be paying for it until it "expires" in November 2015.
