Banfield (Rivergate) and their insurance program is deplorable! BUYER BEWARE! My puppy was diagnosed with a blood clotting disorder and under the advisement of the Banfield vet they cancelled our appointment for her to be spayed due to the risk of bleeding out. We were told that this disorder was 100% passed down from a parent so we contacted the breeder for reparation on the medical cost for the bloodwork as well as establish fault in the event that she bled out... Dr. Clinton and staff at Banfield Rivergate are so wonderful! Calling me to check up on my fur babies, asking me about each one every time I come in with a concern or for just a wellness visit, and happily answering any questions I may have just makes my heart so full & happy! This is how a vet should truly be and they set the standard ❤️🐾 Cooper has an outstanding visit today with a clean bill of health! Thank You from the bottom of my heart! Only any good if your animal is in good health. Would not help us when our 14 year old dog was near death. Got his prescription wrong on 2 occasions in his final week. And could not bring themselves to apologize. No answer to my letter about this to them. If your pet is in trouble, go elsewhere.

I have a toy poodle named Mia. She has been going to this same Banfield since she was nine weeks old. She is now nine years old. I have never had any issues with Banfield. They have taken excellent care of my Mia. I say this with confidence because I am a very picky and over protective fur baby parent. Not once have they ever did anything that would make me question their abilities to provide excellent medical services. Mia even had surgery on her patella that was performed by Dr. Obrien.
