When my 6month old puppy was showing some symptoms that worried my husband & I, we called 3 days in a row to try to get our boy in and we were turned down. The third day when symptoms started to take a turn for the worst we had no choice but to rush him to the emergency animal hospital where he had to be admitted. Banfield is our normal vet and 5 locations had no availability 3 days in a row even in an emergency situation. DON’T use them if you can help it. They are just doing a job and they show little to no concern.

I DO NOT trust the Vet at the East Liberty location for Banfield Hospital. This was my husband and my first experience with them, and it will DEFINITELY be our last. Our Rottweiler had suffered from some severe tongue swelling of unknown origin ~ we didn't know if it was an insect bite or whatever. We had given him Benadryl, which really helped the swelling. My dog got sick suddenly on a Saturday morning, and with no appointment, Banfield and Dr. Liz took her right away and cared for her. Jolie is feeling much better now, and so am I. Thanks Banfield Shadyside and Dr. Liz!
