I was in the petsmart location on Broadway and Pantano this evening (3/24 @ 5:45) I do not(would not) take my pet here, however I am required to bring my prescription for his food for a card that keeps expiring when the rx itself has not. As I was required to stand in line to get a replacement card (expired 03/19/2020) for the food I already had at the register (as my cat has none) I waited for at least 10min for someone to come out, who explained there needs to be a note on the rx stating for the life time of the pet in ord... read more

...Today Was My First Time Taking My Cat To Banfield East With Dr. Steinke And Honestly, I Had A Wonderful Experience. She Was Incredible With My Grouchy Boy. She Was Incredibly Loving, Gentle, Patient And Understanding As Well As Knowledgeable And Full Of Solutions & Options Because Lets Face It, Vet Visits Aren’t Cheap And They Are More Expensive As Your Pet Gets Older. We have been going there for 7 years with multiple pets. Since starting, we've had to put three of them down for cancer. ALL of the staff - vets, vet techs, front desk personnel, EVERYONE has been wonderful; they are caring, comprehensive, and were willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable with everything. I just don't understand the reasoning behind all the negative reviews... That has CERTAINLY not been our experience.
It's very disheartening to learn as you're grieving the loss of your beloved pet that you have to continue paying said pet's insurance for another six months even though she passed away in our arms today. RIP Chloe :(
Dr Miki and staff are the best! I trust them to take excellent care of my dogs!
Our dog stepped on a thorn or cactus. We took her to Banfield because we use them for her normal shots ect. They ask if she was throwing up, if she was eating all kinds of questions while I kept telling them she had steeped on something. It seams like they would rather do the standard check in than listen to the problem. They said they would work her in but 4 hours later they still had not even looked at her paw. We will be finding a new vet.
