Pulling my puppy out of their pet insurance after today. He was neutered and while he was under they accidentally administered a medication that slowed down his heart rate, so they had to counter it with another that brought it back to normal levels. I'm so upset about this, what if they had accidentally administered euthanasia??? I just can't believe that a qualified doctor would ever make such a colossal mistake. I already hated their pushy sales tactics, now I can add negligence.
I only go there in a pinch when my vet's office is closed. Recently went there with my 1 year old Standard Poodle who got sick during the day. What a waste of money. They did nothing except suggest another $150 worth of tests. Banfield vet only diagnosed gas in her stomach and did absolutely nothing for her. She had pure water the next morning for stool when I took her out at 6 a.m. Went to my regular vet at 7:30 a.m. and by 11:00 a.m. she was 80% better.
