First, the IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital ER is incredibly dirty. There were little piles of unidentifiable debris in the corner of the waiting room and in the room itself.The bed in my room was filthy - the plastic parts under the part of the mattress that was propped up had smears and dirt on it. The doctor's helper Hillary Chaney who waited on me spent exactly two minutes total in my room.
