have been going to dr. Balin and coworkers for more years than I can remember and I say not one bad experience.
I just had lasik yesterday and I am so amazed at the results! I haven't even had a follow up visit yet but I am so excited I just had to share. The staff is great here and Dr Balin was very calming through the whole process. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for vision correction surgery.

I 100% recommend Balin eye. I am on day 2 after my surgery and I am loving it. Dr. Balin was awesome. She explained everything and during surgery was amazing. Also can’t say enough about the staff and how great they are especially Joanne, she is a rockstar!
I've been wearing glasses since the third grade. My first movement every morning was to reach for them on my bedside table. Woke up for the first time in 35 years able to see this morning. Thank you.
Amazing! Dr. Balin, Dr., Brown and all the staff were great. I had a scar on my left eye from years ago and was told by others that I would never be a candidate for lasik. They wouldn't even see me. Balin eye & laser took me in and we decided lasik in the right eye and PRK in the left. Had it done yesterday and my right eye is great no pain at all. The left eye is still a little sore but it will all be worth it in the end. Thank you so much Dr. Balin, Brown and all the staff
I have worn eyeglasses for around 45 years. I have lived in Alaska for the last 14 years, and finally had enough of fogged up, slippery, sliding glasses. On a return trip to Massachusetts i finally decided to take the plunge with Lasik surgery. From start to finish, the staff at the Balin Eye and Laser Center was top-notch. I had PRK done by Dr. Balin, Dr. Brown and their wonderful staff in January 2016. I walked in not being able to read the E at the top of the chart we all know is there without glasses/contacts. I walked out of the surgery in less than a week with having 20/15 vision in each eye and with both combined. The procedure had a minimal amount of discomfort alleviated without heavy pain medications in the immediate couple days following.
