Worst company to deal with. Would avoid like the plague. Customer service/support is nonexistent with uneducated answers. Liheap department is a joke at Amerigas with misplacing of your funds to payoff bill. I have been without heat for the past month and some days with children at the helm. They ''Amerigas'' decided to lock my tank because of nonpayment during 20 degree weather leaving us with cold water and no heat having to microwave food and water to eat and bath with. You can not even give them a star for ANYTHING. This company should be SHUT DOWN WORST EXPERIENCE EVER . They LIE TO YOU AGAIN AND AGAIN CHARGE YOU FOR SERVICE CALLS WHEN THEY OWN THE TANK. This should be a ZERO star rating. Buyer beware! My experience has been over 30 days plus to receive propane ordered and prepaid for. We had an emergency fill for 5% full tank. Ordered 12/8/22, finally delivered 1/19/23. That is 42 days. Then they put the propane in the WRONG tank. Called immediately to get fixed. Not one phone call or communication attempted. Say they are coming to fill and never show up. Endless hours on support that doesn’t understand English and repeats same thing over and over.
On January 11,2022 I called to have my tanks removed. I called again February 2. Someone came March 24 but said the tanks were to heavy for him to take alone and he would be ack tomorrow. Guess what? The tanks are still here ,today is exactly one year since I called to have them removed. Please read this and other complaints before even considering using AmeriGas, they are horrible to deal with and obviously their customers dnt matter to them.
Your company sucks, you have missed 5 appointments this time alone. My propane is down to 3 %. I called you 11 days ago. Lies lies lies. My family will freeze while I'm on military duty and you people can't do your job. DO YOUR JOB! I DO
The worst company to deal with. I paid my gas delivery on December 20th $500 and today is Jan 6th and i still dont have my delivery. Called many times, they say my tank has 38% and i have only 12%. Yesterday i called again and after 30 mins waiting they said my delivery was going to be done today. Today i receive a txt saying the driver could not find my house so they did not do my delivery. Amerigas has refused to sell me the tank on my property, although I offered to buy it. It's been in the ground for ten years. On the automatic delivery, Jan 2, 2023, they charged me $4.029 per gallon. US Government statistics (eia.gov) shows an average price per gallon in North Carolina for this week at $3.39 per gallon. Amerigas phone representative has refused to adjust the price or to explain why they are charging 19% above the average for residential propane. My local Amerigas supplier is in Youngsville, NC. Did not get a delivery & company says they did deliver. Company is charging us still. Got a text at 1:30pm saying we got a delivery, checked it at 3pm & did not get deliver. Called company at 3:30pm to let them know we didn't get a delivery, they said it be delivered by the end of the day. This was 1/4/ 2023 Called company today 1/5/2023 & was told it was delivered yesterday. It was not delivered. Got the run around, called 3 times & was hung up on the 3rd time.
