I got SO lucky the day I found Dr. Balcarek. My husband sees him now too. I've never seen a better family practitioner or a more open minded one. The intramuscular stimulation (sometimes called dry needling) he offers is the ONLY thing that finally relieved my neck and shoulder pain so I could go back to leading an active, pain-free life without drugs.
You can't get any better than this Doctor. Very kind, very patient and extremely knowledgeable. He is trained in acupuncture , IMS(intramuscular stimulation) and was an emergency room doctor, in addition to being a skilled family care physician. I have been in extreme muscular skeletal pain for the last several years and the past 6 or 7 doctors I've gone to, including specialists, didn't have a clue or even attempt to help.
