Worked in Merrillville many time's and never stopped at Bakers, because of not taking time to figure out how to get in the lot. Did this time and differently will be going back, food was great and plenty if it.
We just moved to the area and we thought it was great! We did the 1/2 sandwich combos and they were incredible! I had the French dip and it was the best I have had! The pie was truly incredible especially the caramel pecan silk supreme!
We discovered Bakers Square by accident on our way home from Chicago to Nashville. The restaurant was clean, not overly crowded, the wait staff was wonderful and I can't say enough how fabulous the food was! Between us, we had strawberry crepe, cinnamon roll (big enough for 3 people!), bacon, eggs, hash browns and pancakes. It was ALL exceptional!!! Especially the pancakes!!! Light and fluffy and better than I've ever had at Cracker Barrel or IHOP!! I so wish we had one of these fabulous restaurants near us! They had amazing... read more
My experience there was good, food good, pies great, service was okay. It is pricey, what isn't these days?
Waited 45 minutes for a French dip sandwich n frys, and 3 people came and ordered bigger meals n got there's n left before my sandwich was done

Food was awful tasting, just room temperature and service was no better. It was Christmas day and they were no busier thank a Sunday after church. 45.00 wasted big time..ugh
