I needed a birthday cake on short notice for someone who is very sick with Stage 4 Cancer but doesn't wish to be identified on FB. We weren't sure the person would be well enough to celebrate their birthday, as they had a rough week. My husband and I went into the store and we were treated wonderfully with compassion. Do not order a sheet sized dream cake if you are not picking it up the day of the event. It requires refrigeration and comes on a board that will not fit in anything but a large industrial refrigerator. It also does not come in a box or with any sort of covering. We ordered three sheet cakes for our wedding and they would not fit in the venues industrial refrigerator. Picked up 2 cakes this morning that had been ordered well in advance. Script was so far off center it was left-aligned. And crooked. And hard to read. When asked to speak with decorator, she told me she could, "fix it but there will be a mark" and that it would take her another 20 minutes. I was on a schedule, having ordered for a particular time, so had to live with it as-was. Cake was dry, frosting was crunchy, the whole thing looked terrible. No manager on duty, no apology, and was not compensated in any way.
They messed my wedding cake up TWICE two years ago and then had the audacity to be disrespectful on Facebook and argue with me for being unhappy after they bullied me out of their shop with a cake that looked nothing like my reference photo, then claimed I never sent the reference photo even though I had screen shots to prove otherwise.
