Baers furniture in Winter Garden, Fl has dropped the ball repeatedly. At the end of August, beginning of September 2019 my wife and I purchased from this store a special order from LC Kids with the premise the furniture would be delivered within 6-8 weeks. We were then told a few weeks later it would not be delivered until after Christmas. We called and spoke to staff as well showed up in person to the store ultimately deciding we wanted our money back. My mother who has had neck issues was still in search of a perfect bed. A return policy is a must and is not difficult to find when trying new beds. She said the service was great at the store. One associate and the manager confirmed she could return the bed if she wasn't satisfied. She had the bed for a week and a half before she called the store and requested a return. Their tune changed and they said she would not be able to return. Who doesn't let someone return a bed after a week and a half??? They said that while they ... read more

I think this company has the worst customer service for repairs of anyone out there. we bought a recliner and 12 months and a few days the switch on the recliner went out. Took them a week to get here after we told them what the problem was. The repair arrived and confirmed it was the switch and said it needed to be ordered. It has been 8 weeks since then and we did not hear a word. Tried contacting the repair dept for several days with no return calls or emails so I called the furniture store, they tell me it will be anothe... read more

The part was ordered in September and can take 3 months as it comes from overseas. I called the manufacturer and was able to have the switch sent UPS to us , it was not available originally. I spoke to Mr. Hertensen and explained this to him. He was pleased and ask that I mail it to him and he would install. Once the job is complete we will get a new review Thank you Baer's Furniture . .

Did you know that you do not have price protection at this store. I purchased 2 of the same sofas which were advertised by Baers at a lower price 16 days after delivery. I called to request a refund. The store offered a credit on a future purchase but would not give a refund. Company policy of no refund in these circumstances was confirmed by the corporate office.

I had a wonderful designer that helped me find exactly what I wanted. At that point it all went downhill. My delivery window was from 1 until 4 and on the delivery tracker at 3:30 they were on stop 6 and I was stop 10. I called the office and was told that I couldn't speak with anyone that they would call me to let me know what was going on. At 3:45 they called and told me that the driver was running an hour and a half or more late and they apologized for the inconvenience. My wife and I recently went to the Sarasota store to purchase an area rug. We were greeted upon arriving by a sales person who took us to the second floor where their area rug display is located. We told the initial salesman as well as their carpet sales person, *****, that we were wanting an 8' by 10' area rug. They brought us to a rack containing area rugs which they told us came in 8' by 10' dimensions. We found a rug that we agreed was exactly what we were looking for. I have had a couch 5 months and Baer's will not give me a comparable couch. They are coming out for the second time to put padding in a couch that is not functional. I paid a lot of money and i went to Baer's because i had a good experience last time. Not this time.

No service after the sale. Once the sofa was sold it was up to me to relinquish any problems. I purchased an all leather sofa and love-seat by Natuzzi for Baer's. I was informed that the love-seat was on back order. I told the sales agent no problem that I would wait until they had both pieces available to deliver them together. I mentioned my concern about the two sofas matching since they would be from totally different lots of leather being that they were assembled at two different times. I purchased a 2K reclining chair June 1, 2016 and bought the $200 insurance which Baers pushed and promised they would take care of an issues. Early December, 2017 the chair broke and I contacted Baers only to learn that they did not register my insurance and their one year warranty expired June, 2017. Luckily, I had my receipts and provided such to them to get the insurance registered. Then, the nightmare really began. After hours of dealing with the insurance company, they finally ordered a part.
