After many months and months of waiting and $74,000 Baers Furniture delivered a living room rug with a hole big enough for a fist to go thru it. They delivered a defective bed twice, the wrong rug twice and we are still missing the bulk of our order. I call and beg the store manager for our money back but are getting nowhere. Beware, go elsewhere. It's been a very expensive lesson, they have taken our savings.

We recently purchased a new home & needed some furniture. We visited the Melbourne, FL location and worked w/ Melissa Golden. This marks the third or fourth time we have requested her assistance, as she always does a wonderful job. Knowledgable about her products, enthusiastic, patient and genuine. If I could give zero stars I would. Bought a $1500 leather sofa and took deliver July 2019. As Covid19 was developing as a national pandemic, we became more aware of the cushions being flat- it got worse and worse, BUT we are at high risk and didn't want to have a tech visit inside our house. The sofa is now completely uncomfortable, hurts my back and is a nightmare to sit on. I would give ZERO STARS if it was possible. Here's the story. I went there this morning on Labor Day to purchase some wall art. The salesman Julian was very nice and helpful and I found two items that I wanted. We go to the cashier and I hand the girl my Baer's charge card. She tells me that when I use their charge card I can't psychically take the items from the store and they must be delivered. But they don't deliver non furniture items!! Just took partial delivery of a furniture order from Baers that appeared to be hand me downs, rejects from other Baers customers, floor samples, factory seconds or all of the above. Store said they would call us to reschedule delivery of rejected pieces. Hence, almost a week has passed and nothing. We prepaid thousands of dollars and no furniture.

We purchased a sleeper sofa Baer Furniture in Boca Raton. After it was out of warranty, the sleeper mechanism failed during the night when a supporting crossbar separated from the frame. I asked Baer to repair or replace the mechanism. They chose to replace the sleeper mechanism. The sleeper sofa is now as good as new.

I give Baer's Furniture of Port Charlotte a very high rating on their handling of a problem I had with my sofa. Their Customer Service representative, Sue, was very helpful and did a great job in resolving the issue. We very much appreciate all of her help.
