John makes the best specialty drinks, hands down. I've never met someone so committed to his craft and willing to share his talents with others. Bad Decisions has been a favorite place for my wife and I, and it holds a special place close to our hearts. John came out and bartended our wedding. He created some drinks especially for us, and our guests loved them. Many still talk about them and rave about John.
A great place to go for an unpretentious night out with friends. Great drinks and friendly staff!
Just as authentic as the owner himself, Bad Decisions is the epitome of what a bar in Baltimore should be about. It's a place where anyone feels welcome and where you feel like you've been many times before, even if you stepped through the door for the first time that visit. Their bartenders are knowledgeable and they are able to find any drink for any person's palette. Beyond the unique Bacon nights, this is a place where the unique is the norm, and that makes it truly a great experience.
When located on Fleet Street, it could have easily been considered your typical neighborhood corner dive bar...but once inside, there was no mistaking this place was a labor of love. From the unbelievable knowledge of liquor to the creative menu to the surprisingly clean floors & bathrooms (spilled drinks & frankly drunken patrons make this last one a tough ticket for any bar), it was a place I encouraged people to go if they were in or near Baltimore!
