RecommendedI purchased my 1st BacTrack S80 Pro 5 years ago. During that period, I used my device over 1100 times without fault. I mostly used it with quests to determine their ability to drive as I am not much of a drinker. I guess I should have had it calibrated, but I guessed the results were close enough to make a good decision. Finally, the S80 failed. I've had the BACtrack s70 for years and it has always given different readings each blow....even right after one another. this will work for a ballpark but hard to trust its accuracy. Would like to upgrade but looks like the newer units are having the same problem from other reviews.
I wanted to love u and I wanted you to help me not make bad decisions but it jumps between numbers even if you do the test one second after the last so how are you really supposed to know if you had too much I just got mine in the mail and I’ve done a test on it two days in a row and numbers have jumped a lot where it says one minute I’m so over the limitAnd then the next second I’m fine these were all back to back with me getting a reading turning it off and tying it again and I haven’t had a drink and over 40 min
just got mine was so excited. I have had 8 beers still 0.00..... ok so I am a professional but not that good!!! piece of crap!!
I bought the inexpensive model and it seems to be very accurate!
bought and it never registered me above a 0.0... waste of money...
I ordered one and it never registered any readings other than 0. I sent it back and they said it was fine. I complained and they sent me another. Each time I have a drink, I test it and it still says 0.00 - I don't trust these devices at all. It's a complete waste of money.
