I had a unanticipated fall from bike just outside the shop. AJ was kind enough to help clean up my chain and bike and get me on my way with our group. Great place and perfect selection of biking and kayak equipment.
We rented two road bikes from Backcountry for our ride with Bike Across Wisconsin from Key Largo to Key West. Backcountry was very good at installing our pedals and adjusting the bikes. The Giant and Raleigh bikes performed great.... No flat tires!! We wish we would have brought our mirrors. Great people and friendly service. We highly recommend Backcountry.

I like this place so much we've gone 3 times in a week. Picked up a Liquid Logic/Native Versa Board (SUP) from here. Only dealer in the Keys. Great people and a great shop.

As first time campers (I don't think pitching a tent in the backyard one time counts), I needed to rent a tent and mats for our trip to the Dry Tortugas. Backcountry Cowboy Outfitters was recommended to me by another store on Islamorada. I could have not been happier - the tent was easy to pitch, and the owners explained everything - including pictures, and camping tips. I would definitely use their gear again.
