This bike shop is absolutely amazing. JC, the owner, really knows his stuff and is extremely hospitable. I walked in knowing I wanted to leave with a bike but he definitely dropped some knowledge on me. Crazy me I decided to ride it out of the shop, 8 miles home. He even called me the next day to make sure I made it home safely and that the bike was treating me well. I will definitely be back to backcountry cowboy with all of my biking needs and I suggest you do the same!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!

If you are in Islamorada, this is the place to rent from. Not only are the owners extremely friendly but the service they provided for our kayaking trip was seamless. Their store also had plenty to offer with a wide selection of hiking, fishing, cycling, kayaking and outdoor gear. Thanks guys!

This place is amazing, the owners are so nice, and they saved my vacation! They came and picked up my friend and I when we were stranded after renting bicycles from the wrong shop. They got us back on the road, educated about the tire puncture risks in the keys, stocked up on tubes and CO2, and their prices are very fair and reasonable. They also have really nice clothing and shoes. Thank you and will see you next time.

JC and Cristy are wonderful! They were so helpful when I was trying to decide which bike to purchase. I went with a Townie, and now I ride almost every day! Also, don't forget to check out their non profit organization, The Islamorada Foundation, where they enhance and protect Islamorada's parks and green spaces! #shoplocal
JC and Cristy run a fantastic operation. I live closer to Key West, so I only get up to Islamorada occasionally, but always try to make a stop at their store. JC's recommendations on gear are always right on point. Helpful and engaging, but not "pushy". A real credit to the Keys' watersports community!
