Manager needs to be trained on the way they talk to people. Especially in front of other customers
Absolutely do not recommend this place. The manager was very rude to me in front of other customers. One couple walked out because of it. Can't say I blame them. The owner (Gene) was very rude as well. He also wouldn't apologize for his managers rudness towards me. I also noticed before I made this comment that the ratings are very low. Gene that's on you. I love Back Yard Burger's broccoli cheddar soup. Hubby brought a large container home for me. It had big chunks of inedible stalks in it...the kind you can't chew up. I removed about 1 1/2 cups of the hard pieces. I haven't had this problem with it before. I called to complain. I explained the problem. The guy said he'd heard from several people about the problem. My grilled Chicken sandwich was tough..Moms Hamburger wasnt very good and hers was tough too..We were both disappointed ..we wont be back anytime soon nor would I recommend..

I hadn’t had a Backyard Burger in years and we were visiting the KC area and decided to go through the drive thru. This location did not disappoint. Our food was hot and fresh and the customer service was excellent. Makes me wish we could get one back in Mid Mo!
Great food, fast/friendly service and very reasonable prices! Watch for coupons in your newspaper/mail and prices are even better!
