"Good enough" attitude i suggest you consider another shop with competent folks who will complete the job with American Pride and not a lazy "screw it" incomplete job. I had my TJ rear rebuilt. They said the "whine" would go away in time. Here i am in Texas needing to buy a drum-to-drum assembly. Rich B.
Honest and Fair after being ripped off at Firestone on S. Rainbow and having a Good Year and Tire Works centers tell me a bunch of lies, I was directed by an reputable business owner of Wally's Honda to Back Country. Firestone had put in a new head gasket and never replaced my sparkplugs. They told me my oil was leaking into my manifold and needed to be replaced. Thank God I didn't listen to the "bad" reviews...this place is great I took my Jeep to Jake and he and his people treated me with respect and were way cheaper than others in town. I love my Jeep and won't trust it to anyone else now. Thx Jake and BackCountry!
Beware!! Beware!! I trusted this shop with F/R axle build. The lockers would not engage, took four return visits to get right. 2months later the rear ring & pinion came loose. They didn't use lock tight!!! They fixed but refused to replace the gear set, I have been deployed for over a year and returned to enjoy my Jeep but the rear ring and pinion shatered.Back country refuses to stand behind their work .. The 5 star reviews are from his employee,s friends and wife...what a joke!!!
charged for work not done...... i went in to get my clutch replaced and my leaking rear differential fixed. drove my truck home and clutch was good. next day i found the differential was still leaking. went under my truck to see that the nuts on the differential was still covered in thick grease. there is no way they could have fixed my leak without taking the nuts off.. mind you i worked as a mechanic and know how to fix it myself but left my tools back in hawaii.. went back a week later to show them the leak.. the mechanic... read more
