We split the red barn chicken and still took food home it was delish and a lot of food! A roll would have made it complete, such comfort food! We also had the house chips and onion dip, too much dip for the amount of chips.
I just sat at Back 40 for 30 minutes with a water and a menu. I was not greeted by a server to even know who my server was. There were several servers walking around and two what looked to be servers standing at the bar! Also a manager who seated us standing over by the bar as well. Wish I could judge the food but I didn't get to try it!

I am so very sorry. This is inexcusable. We had new servers training and I assume they didn't know the sections. If the manager had been made aware he would have bought your dinner. Did you mention to anyone that you did not have any service? Again, we are very sorry.
The food, ambience and service is first class! I love this place, and have eaten here 3 times since Christmas Eve. If you haven't been yet, get off Facebook and head over!!!
we moved here from southern california a year and a half ago. the ONLY complaint I have is the lack of good food in the valley. you guys nailed it with this restaraunt, it's amazing. thank you for brining us quality food, great ambiance & excellent service. keep the menu small, it's perfect! we miss Texas red's, the stewpot, nacho mamas & claim jumper in park city, there is still good food (sammy's) but not a ton of option for locals that aren't crazy high prices. it's obvious you have years of experience in the business & i... read more

This is some of the best food I've eaten, the place rocks, it's got good sprit and has a good feel to it. the help is very good Mike It's just down right fun and a good place to take the family and friends for lunch and dinner.
Had dinner with my teens on 12/23. The food was much improved. Burgers were the best my boys have had in some time. My beef burgeon with masher was awesome. We will definitely be back. Service was also very good!
We are new to Heber and have been impressed with the local cuisine. We were anticipating the opening of this restaurant. We took an out of town guest with us to try it out. Unfortunately, the chicken was lacking flavor. I ordered the steak, but was disappointed with the tough texture, and traded for my husband's shrimp tacos. Waited over an hour for our food...waitress complained about how terrible it is there and that the owner should have been more prepared before opening the restaurant. Uncomfortable chairs. Felt like the people sitting next to us were basically sitting with us because they were that close. Waited another 20 min for our check. Gave up and walked to the hostess for our check.. Paid $60 and left hungry. I won't be going back!

I am very sorry to hear about your experience tonight. We are at 2 weeks being open and everyday is getting better and more efficient, unfortunately we had kitchen employees not make it to work tonight. It was not a great night and we apologize. I hope my husband was able to discount your bill.
3 of us came down from Park City tonight and are so happy we did. From the immediate warm welcome to our departure chat with the owner it was a great experience! The fried chicken, Portobello Tacos, Tenderloin and 2 garden salads were all great. Robin, our server was super warm, food was served in a timely manner, wine by the glass affordable.
