We LOVED our dinner at Back 40. The views of the mountains are amazing and the food was really terrific. We were a group of 3 adults and 4 kids, and the kids all raved about their meals. The wait staff was really accommodating about a few special requests (swapping out side orders, adjusting adult entrees for kids, etc). The adults all ordered the salmon done different temps and with different sides, and the kitchen got everything perfect. Can't wait to go back!
Excellent food; solid service ... but very loud making it hard to relax. Sounds like dishes are being thrown around.
Wife and I had the Prime Rib special. Meat was undercooked and not warm enough. Price was way to high for quality and quantity of food. Place was very noisy. Staff was very nice but does not make up for the dissapointing meal. I will not return to this establishment.

I am very sorry about your negative experience. Had it been brought to our attention we would have replaced your meal or taken it off the bill. We purchase our beef from a local rancher, the beef is organic grass fed, hormone free. We do appreciate your feed back.
Great food and good service. Parking area needs some help.
