I LOVE the truffle oil pizza – I've had just about everything on the menu, and everything's really tasty and creative, but by far, my favorite is the truffle oil pizza. SO tasty and light, it's perfect with a glass of wine. Service is impeccable, the backyard patio is large and welcoming, my boyfriend and I keep coming back and introducing friends to the place.
Haven't even had the pizza...the food is so amazing! – So, I had been walking by this place which is 3 blocks from my apartment thinking it was just another flashy "New Billyburg joint" going to let me down. Well, I was wrong. I was set on pizza for one till I heard the specials. I decided on the cured duck breast with arulula salad and the pumpkin gnocci with tellegio cheese sauce. Great New Restaurant – Out of 13 reviews only one that is slightly bad. Sorry Pekera but looks like you are out-numbered. I have to go with the majority - this place is great, food is delicious. Highly recommend this real Italian cuisine restaurant. Great outdoor dining.
Maybe – I am not sure I think this place is really really average. went there with a group of 4 and i had the chance of trying a few things. first of all the decor is very italian.... i mean of those italian place where there is no decor and the place is so cold and plastic that you can just eat and leave. the problem is that in italy those places are really inexpensive and the food is usually really good.... here it was kind of pricey and the food was not that good. the pizza was really average and i mean if you go to luzzo... read more
Better than being in Rome... – Excellent, reasonably priced food, try the simple pasta and risotto dishes (lamb ragu is amazing). Great wine list, plenty of good stuff at around the $30 mark. Friendly, attentive service. Great outdoor space, although decor a little clean/ modern for me. Overall, it was better than most of the restaurants I have been to in Rome and a great replacement for the once great Max.
Fantastic, friendly new restaurant in Williamsburg – I'm so happy to see all the good reviews Baci & Abracci is getting - they deserve them all, and then some. I went here for the first time the night after opening night and I've been back probably eight or nine times since - it's not cheap, but it's not unduly expensive, and it's worth every penny. Great Experience, Awesome Food – I've been here about 7 times and I'm still trying to find something I don't like. These people have definitely done something right here. From the seafood appetizers to the pizzas & pastas, the menu has variety and quality. The staff and restaraunt provide a relaxing atmosphere and they have a huge patio which is always a plus.
another brick oven – the place is straight out of the upper east side. the design doesn't suit the neighborhood, but the food is pretty solid. i ate there last week and it was solid. my only problem is that now i have to split time between 5 italian restaurants within walking distance of me....
Great Italian restaurant comes to Billyburg – What a great addition to the neighborhood! baci & abbracci is a charming Italian restaurant with a gorgeous outdoor patio.
