Horrifying! My husband and I were frequent customers. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and the service and thought that the prices were very fair. One evening while dining in the garden out back we realized that someone from the staff was urinating on the fence that separated our table from the empty lot next to the restaurant. He was facing us and was about a foot away. What?s worse is that we were the only people dining outside so it was clear that the person knew what he was doing. We saw staff going in and out of a do... read more

Inconsistent – The first two times we ate here everything was excellent. The service was friendly and efficient; the food was tasty and flavorful... Tonight however the service was horrible. We ordered drinks that never came (the appetizers arrived before someone came over to tell us that they couldn't make our drinks). My boyfriend and I both work in the restaurant industry so we understand having an off night to a certain extent. But when our entrees didn't arrive (and the other server came over to question where our food ... read more

Good Appetizers – Perfectly fried and lightly battered calamari, the asparagus wrapped in pruscuitto was also very good, however, I felt the main entree "lamb ragu" was mediocre.. I must agree, the food at Acqua Santos is pretty good..

bad food, bad service – I don't know why everyone else seemed to like this place - the food is absolutely horrible. No flavor, over- or under-cooked, and teeny portions compared to most comparable restaurants. The only plus of this place is the garden out back. The service is horrendous - I had a drink spilled on me twice on 2 separate occasions. Apparently they are famous for their ragus, but I don't know why. It's like italian food that's never even heard of spices. If you want good italian food in williamsburg, go to a re... read more

The first real Italian restaurant in williamsburg – There is not another pizza like at baci&abbracci in NYC. This is authentic and innovative Italian food. They make Their own Mozzarella, Bread, Fresh pastas and desserts. give them same land and soon they will make even wine. It seems that they dedicate a lot of time in the kitchen. Too bad that not too many people realized it.

amazing food and great service – Everything I've had at this restaurant has been absolutely amazing. Great appetizers, great pasta, great wine, and great desserts. The best thing I think I've had is the pizza with cherry tomatoes, bufala mozarella, and arugula. It melts in your mouth. It makes a great appetizer to share with a group or to eat as an entree. The cavatelli with sausage and broccoli rabe is fantastic. Overall, the food is terrific, reasonably priced, and the service was exceptional. Also, the atmosphere was not ... read more

Found this Hidden Gem for Brunch, and Went Back for an Excellent Dinner – My wife and I passed by Baci & Abbracci as we were going to visit friends in Williamsburg and stopped in for brunch. The modern decor is elegant and striking, yet right away the friendly service made us feel at home. My wife had the French toast served with strawberries and melon, and I had to steal some bites. She loved the toasted rice cereal on the outside of it... perfect way to start the weekend. I couldn't decide between an open faced omelet or t... read more

Stark white walls and high-end Italian food set the scene at this hipster hangout in Billyburg. – The Scene With a big porthole cut out of the front door and mod, pendant light fixtures inside, this eatery stakes its claim among the neighborhood's chic dining spots. Attentive Italian-speaking waiters dressed in de rigeur black take your order, and a tall brick oven rises from the back. Flickering candles ensure that everyone looks their best. The Food Refined Italian fare composes the menu: A mixed, grilled seafood appetizer... read more
