Best place for good music and BBQ. Mike Babb is a great friend to all his patrons and treat them like family. Early show hours.

2/10/18 was my first time there and as picky as I am I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Seating was just a bit too "cozy", but I guess it went with the ambiance. Although I realize it is a family diner, there were toooooo many kids! The band "Natural Change" was excellent! I really appreciated how everyone danced together and sat together, black, white, etc!!! That is what made my evening wonderful!! I'll be back!
Loved the ribs AND the Michael Lee band! They rocked!
Had ribs, collard greens, cheese potatoes and cornbread. Meat fell off the bone and seasoned to perfection. Collard Greens were on point!
The blues and rock’n roll music with a little bit of country was awesome!
If you want to listen to good blues/soul music this is your place to go. If you want great bbq, go somewhere else. If you sit inside be careful because the music is so loud you won’t be able to talk to someone sitting next to you. I had brisket, pulled pork, and turkey. All three meats were very dry and lacked flavor. I did enjoy the cheesy potatoes though.
Great food great people and Good Times. Mike Babb treats you like you've been a long lost family member. I will make it a point to stop every time I'm here in Dallas. If you go on a Friday night you'll get to hear Mike sing with a lot of special guest
Always have a good time at Babb's Brothers! Not necessarily for the food and drink, but for the entertainment. I do love their smoked turkey sandwich which is what I always get when I go. Mike Babbs is quite an entertainer and keeps it fun. He's very personable and interacts with the customers. This is not for the snooty diners looking for upscale bougie atmosphere.
