Painful manicure, painful filing led to bleeding cuticles rough edges on gel. At end of service -that I was wanting to end prematurely since I was in pain —she - the manager- said you should have sat with another nail tech. Quite unfortunate, wish I had left sooner, sad I paid and tipped normally without any offer of any recovery from management. Disappointed. usually my go to salon in santa monica, but i got my nails done with be and the whole service seemed very rushed due to low staff. i got cut on my cuticles multiple times and even told her before the service to be very careful because of my weak nails. halfway through the service she left and began yelling at a fellow employee for leaving the door open and being sick. not even a week later, my nails began lifting from the gel-x and most of them are falling off. when i called asking for a refund she said i would only be refun... read more
I have been going to Be & J for several years now / I really like my nail lady and she is the ONLY reason I go there … and keep going there ! The Women in the front & the man that is her assistant are Extremely rude , short on the phone and have absolutely ZERO manners !! I wish there was a way to bypass them at all cost ! Just today I called to make an appointment and she slammed the phone on me bc I took a few second to confirm the time given to me . If you want to get your toe distroyed this is your place . Not the first time when I got injuried here, they file nails till they get distroyed. I guess I didn’t learn my lesson till today .
