Dinner and Dancing – The wife and I came in for dinner the food was good we had to try the mojitos since we have been hearing how good they are and we must agree. After dinner we went into the back lougne and danced the night away this is a good spot for dancing and having good food and drinks.
Happy Hour Thristy Thursday – I love coming in on Thursday Nights happy hour all night long you cant beat that. Three dollar drinks and Tapas wow what a deal. Get gets better there is live video mixing with sauvemente the music is wonderful. they do such a great job that thursday night is my night out for good music and a few drinks.
great for downtown S.J. – thrilled I found this place! It is local major plus, has great hours, great menu, good prices and fully stocked bar(s) since I am not a hard liquer person, I loved the selection of beer on hand. I have heard about azucar before but had not ventured in came in friday night wow there is a nice crowd and the music is hot.
Great Music – I love the music especially when the live bands are playing. The atmosphere is high and everyone is having a great time dancing and having a few drinks. I have not been for dinner yet but I am sure I will do so soon. I love Son Del Kali
Salsa Lessons – I love the salsa lessons on Monday night I am not that good of a dancer but my girlfriend loves to dance and so I wanted to give it a try for her, turns out I am not as bad as I thought and the folks are friendly and nice so I dont feel so out of place.
Found a Downtown Gem – Bringing a recent transplant I am so glad that I found azucar, I love my latin heritage and was looking for a place to eat, drink and be merry. I came in for happy hour and being a mojito drinker these rate very high in my book the appetizer are some of the best and filling. I have to come back and have dinner in the near future. I came in and felt welcome and at home. Thanks Azucar for brining a little of home.
Love the Music – the band is wonderful, I love the live music it just seems to make you want to dance when you have someone playing music. The crowd is a nice mix. The staff is super friendly. The mojitos are cold and have a little punch to them. I love the two different styles of music int he lougnes.
Great Atmosphere – We came in for dinner the staff was very attentive, the food was delicous, i see why they were voted best mojitos. The crowd is a good mixture and we enjoyed the music. Good spot to have a good time in.
like to sing – you have to come out on wednesday night for karaoke night it is so much fun. you can sing in either english or spanish last night azucar was packed. everyone had a great time. I love karaoke. I love to come in have a few drinks and then listen and sing along with everyone else you have to come see it for yourself.
