I went to this “doctor” to start an antidepressant and she suggested cosmetic work on my face and a husband to improve my mental health. This woman is unsafe for patients. So scary.
Went for a possible UTI, did no blood work,or urinalysis said I needed high blood pressure medicine and a an ultrasound, literraly did nothing oh and recommended cosmetic treatment for a wrinkle
Great Dr, Takes the time to get to know the patient. I have been a patient 2yrs and highly recommend.
DO NOT GO HERE! She is extremely rude, does not listen to you, gives you a diagnosis before even asking your symptoms, is extremely rude to her staff, and does not seem knowledgable about general medical conditions.
She really listens to you. Straight to the point and super accommodating. Friendly staff and awesome doctor.
Avoid at all costs. She charges in advance for visits, which results in paying much higher than a standard copay (I think I paid $150 despite insurance). She does not use negotiated insurance plan pricing to bill visits as I do. I told her I was a physician and she looked at me sideways like she didn’t believe me. She told me I could have several refills of a prescription without needing a visit each time for the refill. I called the office asking for a refill and was told that I needed a visit. I had the pleasure to work with Dr Shamani. Very caring and compassionate physician, she takes the time to address the patients concerns, either it’s one or several she makes sure the patient leaves the office with the necessary referrals and medications. I would have loved to work here longer but unfortunately I am relocating. The office staff is also very detail oriented and dependable.
Be prepared for long wait times. This is not because emergencies happen, this is the norm. Total wait time to be seen can take up to 2 hours from time of your appointment. Dr. Shamani will apologize for the wait and blame a previously patient for the delay. She will openly let you know what the patient in the other room is going through. No patient confidentiality whatsoever!
