Local guy – We kept this wopnderful road house a secret for many years - well 2 or 3 - and then the word was out. Axel's boast great service, generous portions and fine drinks ,in cluding a great martini menu. The atmosphere is casual yet fairly classy - dinner club style. The food is manly - in variety and portions. A guy's-type of place, ladies. But, if you like guys, this is for you. However, the Sunday brunch is upscale, tasty and generous. Enjoy - but, don't going telling your friends about our secret.
Tremendous – The ambiance and service is top notch. A fun place for low light romance, or a bourbon and steak with friends. The hostess was very accommodating for choice of seating.
