Please choose wisely before you choose which salon to patronize. I had the worst experience at AVEDA SALON IN BONAIR. The most rude and incompetent people I have ever come across. And all this without even getting one one salon treatment. I was scheduled and then confirmed 4 times in a 24 hour period. Several times by phone call and once by text. My first call to schedule the appointment I had a lengthy discussion with the scheduler about what I needed, the type of stylist I needed and why I needed them. I was given a specific person that she thought would be best for my issue. One hour prior to my appointment when I called to speak with the stylist I found out from the receptionist that she had no idea what my needs were or why I was coming in. I was not on the schedule books and then when she finally found me it was for the wrong hair treatment altogether and with a different person than we discussed. She sent me to a male receptionist to reschedule. I said I wanted the appointment that I had with the person I had been scheduled with. I again reiterated that I already had a hair color appointment scheduled for next week and did not need a color today. He told me it didn’t matter which stylist I got because they were all good and to “Go there then” ( meaning my other salon) and then hung up on me. I immediately drove to the salon and asked for the owner. The male receptionist at the front desk tried to act like the owner/manager was unavailable and he was the person I needed to speak with. Mind you at this time I was very upset with the fact that the gentleman had hung up on me and so I was unwilling to speak with him. The owner/manager did come out and speak with me. I tried explaining that I was upset that the gentleman that had hung up on me. The male receptionist who hung up on me kept trying to interrupt me while I was speaking to the owner/manager. I told him to quit interrupting because I did not want to speak to him any further. This is when the owner told me to get out/leave and that they were not going to allow me to be a customer of theirs. I was flabbergasted!!! If you can’t handle one upset customer then I don’t know how you keep any customers. About this whole experience was not like anything I’ve ever experienced before. They did nothing to try to make it right they didn’t they did nothing to try to remedy the situation other than to hang up the phone on me and ask me to leave the salon. I now fully understand why it was OK for the receptionist to hang up on me. Because this flippant additude extends all the way to the top. I absolutely do not recommend the salon to anyone at any time.
