Recently went to Avvino for the first time for dinner with friends. Needless to say, my only disappointment was that I had not been sooner. The food was fantastic!. Our Waiter, Evan, was very attentive and as it was our first time, he not only spoke of the specials being offered, but also talked about several dishes which we might want to consider for our meal. To start... the place, simply put, is chic. the staff, very friendly and attentive! Ian was our server and he beyond surpassed expectations. very knowledgeable about the menu and even more so the extensive wine list. We ordered a Paul Prieur Sancerre which was perfection coupled with the roasted pear appetizer which was a perfect blend of sweet, savory and flavorful!
