I have been living here for eleven years. I am a retired teacher living on a fixed income, so I appreciate that the rent is not yet out of my reach. In addition, I moved from a nearby complex at which I suffered two burglary attempts in less than a year. We've tried to get our bath tub resurfaced since we moved in in February. It's now almost November, and I really really regret the gallons of Drain-O I've had to buy (wish I'd kept the receipts) and poison the environment with to be able to take a shower without my tub overflowing because of all of the half-assed (and gross and sludgey) tub paint that's peeled off and is clogging the drain. This place is falling apart, mold and silverfish everywhere, the doors don't shut because they've been painted over so many times. I've spent more than I care to admit on draino for the tub that was incorrectly sealed and just flakes off huge chunks of vinyl continuously. I spent this entire last Friday scrubbing the mold from my bathroom grout with a toothbrush - literally 3+ hours - and it's still there. I absolutely love living here! It’s a great community with beautiful, spacious apartments with a lot of character. Even though it’s in a bustling city, it feels like it’s in its own world. There are beautiful, huge trees and green spaces and amazing wildlife. It’s quiet and peaceful. The second I stepped foot into the complex, it felt like home. I feel completely safe here. Plus, you get the added bonus of it being an easy walking distance from a variety of shops, restaurants, bars, and parks. They are very dog friendly here... read more
